2014 Science Fair

sceince-fairAfter months of hard work researching and experimenting, the Mentor College 2014 Science Fair took place last Wednesday and Thursday! During the two days, projects were on display in the O’ Brien Hall – with all Grades 7/8 students presenting their findings to a rotating panel of judges. Mrs. Jordan and Miss Narvaez are very proud of all the students who participated and they would also like to express their appreciation to the many parents, teachers, high school students, Mentor alumni, and other guests who volunteered their time to judge at the science fair. Even with more projects this year than ever, the response to help judge was overwhelming and made the presentation sessions run smoothly – Thank you! As well, a special “thank you” is extended to Mrs. Paula MacLeod, the MTPA Science Fair Coordinator, for all her work in coordinating the parent volunteers.
