Cross-Country Skiing at Horseshoe Valley

The Grade 5 and 6 students hit the trails, nordic style, today at Horseshoe Valley. It was a beautiful day to be out on the trails with temperatures rising well above zero. After a one hour lesson, the students took to the trails and enjoyed a fantastic day.

Willa says falling is okay if you don’t mind looking like a spider. Bella added that her group looked like upside down turtles when ever they tried the steeper slopes. Skiing is an adventure and it’s only just started added the philosophical Madiha.

Thanks to Mr. Fransson for organizing this adventure and Ms. Harris and Mr. Dorey for keeping everyone on the trails!
