Drum Roll Please…

130420M0007…Fashion Show 2013, Toy Shoppe, is thrilled to announce that this year’s event raised $65,000! These proceeds will be divided evenly between two charities: Alzheimer’s Society of Ontario and Cystic Fibrosis Canada.

We are so proud of the tireless efforts and dedication of our committees: the student executive (led by Kailyn Leckie, Tory O’Connor and Laura Prosia), the parent committee and all of the staff support. We would like to thank all of the student models from each campus; our show featured a total of 130 models, as well special appearances from Namanish Singh (pianist in our auction gallery), Jordan Santelli (guitarist in the Primary scene) and our talented juggling group who wowed the audience with their glow-in-the-dark performance!

Finally, to all of our student volunteers who helped ensure the shows success throughout the evening by assisting with the auctions, serving food, babysitting the junior models, backstage support, distributing candy and ushering our audience of over 700 guests. There are so many people to thank, but our biggest kudos goes to all of the audience – our Mentor families and friends are the key ingredient and without your support, this event would not be possible.

If you would like a DVD for the show – please email with your child’s name and campus. Please send your payment ($20) to the Main Campus office. The DVDs will arrive the week of May 27 and will be sent home with your child.

What’s next: on Thursday, May 23, Ms. Vendittelli and Mr. Brewster will be accompanying 14 students from the executive committee to the Cystic Fibrosis Peel and District Chapter office to help prepare for the 2nd annual Great Strides Walk at Chinguacousy Park in Brampton (on Sunday, May 26).
