The 18th annual Fashion Show took place on Saturday, April 26, 2014. The beneficiaries of this year’s event were Sheena’s Place (a centre dedicated to supporting teens with eating disorders) and Trillium Health Partners Foundation (to raise funds for the new child friendly area within the upcoming redevelopment of the emergency department at Trillium Health Partners, Credit Valley Hospital).
The 2014 Fashion Show senior student head representatives Alexandra Boucouvalas, Maddie McAvoy, and Tess Power are to be commended for their tremendous leadership in coordinating the 18th annual Fashion Show! The senior student head representatives would like to thank the junior head representatives Iva Keran, Julia Cappellacci, and Matthew Smith for their support as well as the entire student executive committee, who were all instrumental in the success of the show. Organizers would also like to acknowledge the dedication of the parent committee; their expertise and guidance helped make this event a phenomenal fundraiser and we can’t wait for all the final numbers to be calculated.
Thank you for the support from everyone at Mentor College/TEAM School. The staff advisors from each campus, as well as the student volunteers, are fundamental to the success of the show. Organizers are truly grateful for the support of the entire school community.
Everyone involved is very appreciative of the generous donations from sponsors, including local businesses as well as Mentor/TEAM families. The live and silent auctions and raffle prizes stations went very well and helped raise significant funds for the event’s two chosen charities: Sheena’s Place and Trillium Health Partners Foundation!
