The secret is finally out – the Grade 8 students are heading to New York City for their graduation trip on Monday, June 6th to Friday, June 10th, 2016!
Yesterday, Mentor College and TEAM School Grade 8s assembled at their respective schools to find out the location of this year’s trip, along with some important information about how to be a part of this amazing experience. Students were also excited to hear that both Mentor and TEAM students will be traveling together this year!
New York City offers students a wide range of interesting sites and activities. They will visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the United Nations Headquarters, the 9/11 Memorial, and Central Park. Students will also enjoy a ferry ride past the Statue of Liberty to Ellis Island, a night view of the city from the Rockefeller Center, a tour of Manhattan, shopping at Times Square and on 5th Avenue, and a Broadway theatre performance, along with many other exciting activities.
Information packages were sent home this week as well. Also, please return the medical emergency information form (found in the information package) to Ms. Suri or Mrs. Joseph by Friday, November 13th, 2015 in order to confirm your registration.
