A bus full of Mentor Grades 7/8 students went from one winter wonderland to another on Tuesday. The reason was the annual trip to Hardwood Ski and Bike for a day full of cross-country skiing. After an hour of instructions and practice by some experienced coaches, the students ventured out and embraced winter when it is at its best – crisp air, sunny skies while standing on a pair of skis. The Mentor skiers explored the trail network for a good hour before heading back for a quick lunch and then went out back again for another couple of hours. What a great day!
