Students in Grade 11 leadership classes braved the quickly-advancing fall weather at the OEC from September 28 to October 2. Students took part in many leadership and team-building activities including a high-ropes element where students learned trust and support for one another, and a fantastic canoe trip through the lakes of Muskoka.
Classes did a super job setting up camp outdoors, as well as planning meals and cooking for their classmates all weekend. The food was so good it is tough to choose a favorite! The s’mores around the campfire were amazing, though!
Some students even finished off a day of hiking to a waterfall and canoeing with a “refreshing” dip in the lake! A great time was had by everyone, and your teachers can’t wait until our next adventure to Algonquin
