If you were anywhere near the NS gym at the Main Campus last Friday, you surely witnessed the teamwork, camaraderie, and sense of school spirit that was present as students, teachers, principals, and parents rode in honour of a very special person to try to help get rid of a terrible disease
In honour of Mentor/TEAM student Jenna Santelli, Mentor/TEAM Grades 7-12 students rode in their third Inside Ride. Having already become the largest fundraising school in Canada, the students raised $90,000 – 100% of which will be directed to the Jenna’s Angels foundation to help with building a new Research Tower in Jenna’s name at the Hospital For Sick Children.
In the past three years, Mentor/TEAM students have raised $280,000 through the Inside Ride. As Mr. Philbrook said to the students at the event, “This is an unbelievable amount of money and you should all be very proud of this achievement.”
