On a cold and windy day, the boys and girls in Mrs. Peirson’s Primary class had an excellent field trip to Mountsberg Conservation Area to try a taste of spring. They boarded a wagon, pulled by Vegas and Odyssey, two giant percheron horses, and made their way to Maple Town. Once in the sugar bush, students got to tap a tree and taste some sap. As a special treat, they got to try some fresh maple syrup, right out of the evaporator. After the visit, the boys and girls all had some fun in the play barn. What a great day!
