Intramurals are offered at each age level, and are most popular among Primary students. Participation is voluntary, but all students are encouraged to become active in the programme.

Extracurricular Athletics

Inter-school competition begins with 7 sports in the Primary Division (Grades 3-4), 8 in the Junior (Grades 5-6), 9 in the Intermediate (Grades 7-8) and 16¬†in the High School (Grades 9-12). Most teams hold tryouts, but there is at least one sport offered each term that has a “you come to practice, you play” philosophy.

In the Primary and Intermediate Divisions, Mentor plays in the Private School’s Athletic Association (PSAA) league versus other private schools in the Mississauga-Oakville-Toronto area.

At the High School level, Mentor College is a full member of the Ontario Federation of Secondary Athletic Associations (OFSAA). In its region, Mentor competes in the Region of Peel Secondary Schools’ Athletic Association (ROPSSAA), in both league and tournament play.
