Entering its 23nd year, the Mentor College/TEAM School Fashion Show has raised over $1,000,000 for local hospitals and charities. This student-run event brings together students from all divisions of Mentor/TEAM – with the result being a world-class gala event that makes a difference in the community.
The 22nd annual Fashion Show, entitled YYZ, was held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 and was a tremendous success! The Toronto-themed event featured models from all divisions of Mentor College and TEAM School! There were three high-energy dance routines from the HS division, over 10 unique spring collections from our very own student designers, and several exciting runway scenes that were outfitted by various clothing stores in the GTA!
Beyond all the fun on the stage, the night also included a silent auction gallery , Toronto Monument raffle prizes, and a live auction to our sold-out crowd of 650 guests. While we are still tabulating the total amount raised (to be announced in late May), we would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to the entire student planning committee led by three very dedicated senior students: Nicole Boyd, Lauren Kalaparambath and Jake Whyte, who tirelessly devoted hundreds of hours ensuring the show’s success, all in support of two worth charities; Raising the Roof and the William Osler Health System Foundation.
We would also like to express our gratitude to all the staff, administration, student volunteers and generous donors who were instrumental to our accomplishments. We are so proud to bring our entire school community together for such great causes and thank all of our guests for their patronage, generosity and encouragement.
