High School Summer School

Mentor College offers a summer programme in which students have the opportunity to earn high school credits. Further information can be obtained from director Mr. Petrosian at (905) 271-3393 or via e-mail at apetrosian@mentorcollege.edu.

We welcome students currently attending schools other than Mentor College.

Dates & Times

All classes begin on Monday June 24, 2019 and run every weekday (with the exception of the Canada Day holiday: Monday July 1) until Friday July 26, 2019 (the final examination day). The programme hours run from 9:00 to 1:40. Drop-off time each morning is from 8:30 to 8:50, and pick-up time is from 1:40 to 2:00. There is bus service available in the mornings, and afternoon bus service can be arranged as long as enough overall interest is shown.Thursday January 31, 2019: Registrations are sent home with all students in High School Division

Friday February 1, 2019: Registration opens for all courses 8:00 AM
Friday May 31, 2019: Cancellation deadline for 100% refund
Friday June 14, 2019: Cancellation deadline for refund less $450
Friday June 14, 2019: Refunds are not issued after this date
Monday June 24, 2019: Session begins
Monday July 1, 2019: Canada Day – school closed
Friday July 26, 2019: Final Examinations (AM), Final Examination Review (PM)

How & When To Register

Registration packages will be sent home with all High School students on Thursday January 31, 2019. Registration for all courses opens on Friday February 1 at 8:00 AM in Mr. Petrosian’s office only. Registrations must be submitted directly to Mr. Petrosian and cannot be accepted before Friday February 1. With classes where there are multiple sections, students are assigned to sections on a first-come first-served basis.

Registration packages will be available here starting on Thursday January 31, 2019.

Cancellation/Refund Policy: Full refunds are available until May 31, 2019. Refunds less a $450 cancellation fee will be given after May 31, 2019 until June 14, 2019. Refunds cannot be issued after June 14, 2019.

What To Bring

All textbooks are provided by the school. Students must bring a binder to organize their notes, and are encouraged to bring a lunch or an appropriate snack each day. The tuition fee is due in full upon registration. A minimum of four students is required in order for a course to be offered.

Mentor College High School Summer Programme offers a wide variety of Grades 9-12 credit courses.

Other high school credit courses will be made available with sufficient enrolment. Please indicate your preference on the course registration form (Ex. Grade 9 Science, Grade 10 History) or contact Mr. Petrosian at the Main Campus at 905-271-3393 or via e-mail at apetrosian@mentorcollege.edu.

All Mentor College school rules and regulations apply to students registered in the summer programme.
