There Are Hardly Any Hills, Mr. Fransson!

jan21-2013-int30 Mentor Intermediate students seized the opportunity to truly embrace winter and joined Mr. Fransson and Ms. Harris on a ski trip to Hardwood Hills. Instructors at Hardwood taught the skiers a few skills before the students explored the beautifully-groomed trails. The students – many of whom were on cross-country skis for only the second or third time – quickly learned that Nordic skiing is a bit different from downhill skiing. For one, you have to learn to appreciate the hills you encounter. The students showed a lot of enthusiasm and had a great day!
